You are standing in a misty valley, leaning on a large rock in the foreground. Over the hilltops you can just about make out the silhouette of the chocolate factory.

The first layers of this acrylic painting on paper are “wet-in-wet” where I start by applying water onto the page with my sponge brush, and then add layers of diluted paint, which I let dry. I repeat this process a few times before I add layers of paint directly onto the dry painting.

This small piece would look great in a grouping with other artwork, or you could lean it onto a bookshelf to style with some beautiful objects. On its own it is very well suited for an area where you have a small amount of wall space that you would like to jazz up with some fabulous art.

Pair it with my artworks Floating Pebbles, Through the Looking Glass and Stringing Beans.
